Create the initial holiday allowance record for a single employee

A holiday allowance can be assigned to an employment history record.  When the initial employment history record is saved, the system will create the associated holiday allowance record, prorating (based on your system settings) using the employment start date, end date (if any) and the notional/actual factor (i.e. proportion of full time hours that the employee works based on the FTE and hours per week/weeks per year).

Employee holiday allowances created in this way can also be revised when the terms of the position change or the employee leaves the organisation.

Holiday allowances can be manually created, but care should be taken that the holiday allowance is associated to an activity so that when the holiday allowance is rolled over, it can again be prorated based on the information within the employment history record.
