Use this tab to enter the following additional details for the employment history record.
Reference
Type a reference for the activity.
Post Reference
Type a reference for the post.
When a post reference is recorded in the activity definition, this field shows that post reference. You should set a post reference in an activity definition only when there is only one post for the activity.
Display Screen Equipment
Select this check box if the activity includes the use of a computer display screen.
These details can be gathered together for Health and Safety reporting functions.
Activity Change Reason
Select an activity change reason from the drop-down list. You can set up the activity change reasons for your organization by using Personnel > Your Organisation > Activity Change Reason.
This field can record the reason why the employee was appointed to this activity. When an employee record is created from a candidate’s details in the Recruitment module, a value is set in this field. If the candidate is an existing employee, the field is set to the value in the Promotion Appointment Reason field on the Employment tab of the HR Application – Features window. If the candidate is not an existing employee, the field is set to the value in the NEW Starter Appointment Reason field.
Activity Employment Status
Select the status from the drop-down list.
You can set up the activity employment statuses for your organization by using Personnel > Employment > Activity Employment Status.
Employee Characteristics
If you set or change Contract Type, Employment Type and Employment Status in the primary active record, they are reflected in the Terms window.
Contract Type
Select the contract type from the drop-down list.
You can set up the contract types for your organization by using Personnel > Employment > Contract Type.
Employment Type
Select the employment type from the drop-down list.
You can set up the employment types for your organization by using Personnel > Employment > Employment Type.
Employment Status
Select the employment status from the drop-down list.
You can set up the contract types for your organization by using Personnel > Employment > Employment Status.
Probation
End of Probation
Select or type the probation date for the employee.
Probation Extension Count
Type the probation extension count.
Equal Opportunities
SOC
Select or type the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code.
You can set up the SOCs by using Personnel > Your Organisation > SOC.
Activity Group
Select or type an activity group.
You can set up activity groups by using Personnel > Your Organisation > Activity Group.
