I need to add a lot of absence records to my employee’s records but I don’t want them to receive a lot of emails. How do I switch off the workflows?

The ways in which you can avoid Workflows being sent out when you are creating records in bulk are as follows:


To turn off all of the workflows:

Log in to the software.

Click Workflow Work Flows – On/Off.

Untick Processing ACTIVE.


To turn off a specific workflow:

Log in to the software.

Click Workflow Process.

Select the workflow you wish to edit.

Click Edit.

Select When to Start option as Never (Not In Use).



If you are importing data via the Authorisation Centre:

Before importing the data, a prompt will ask if you would like to temporarily disable the workflows for the duration of the import.

Click Yes.

No workflows will be triggered based on the data you are importing.
