Use this window to record details of items that have been issued to employees. An example of its use is where an employee is considered responsible for certain computer equipment and the window can hold the details of the item and its serial number.
Each issue type can given a unique code and a description to easily identify it. Issue Items can be grouped together by type and the type code should be selected from a drop-down list. The supplier of the item can be recorded as an optional extra detail. Use this window to view, create, amend, delete, and import the codes and descriptions.
If you set the Quantities: Available field, the software automatically maintains this and the quantity issued each time this particular item is issued and returned, so it is possible to keep track of the amount of these items that are available at any particular time.
You can record the issue of an item to an employee by using the Issues window.
