Allocate Holiday Allowance

The Allocate Holiday Allowance wizard will allocate the relevant holiday allowance to all employees who meet the criteria set in the qualifying query set in the holiday allowance definition, Personnel > Definitions > Terms and Conditions > Holiday Allowance > Automation > Auto Allocation Qualifying Query.  This wizard would typically be used to assign the initial holiday allowance to a group of employees, as opposed to rolling over the holiday allowance from the previous year.

Specify Holiday Allowances

Select the holiday allowance to be assigned to the employees that match the criteria set in the qualifying query associated to the holiday allowance.

Start Date

Enter the date that the holiday year commences for this group of employees.

Run

The wizard will create a holiday allowance record for each employee, using the number of days specified in the holiday allowance Personnel > Definitions > Terms and Conditions > Holiday Allowance > Details > Holidays and will pro rata the number of days where necessary if the qualifying query is either based on the Employment History record, or Personnel > Definitions > Terms and Conditions > Holiday Allowance > Automation > Automatically Link to Primary Active is checked.
