Attributes

Use this window to record the specific qualities for the selected employee, such as whether they are a qualified first aider, or can speak another language, such as French or German. Attributes tend to be skills for which there may not be a formal measure or qualification, but could be very relevant to the employee’s value. It may be desirable to record attributes such as good people manager, excellent communication skills, and so on.

Creating an Attribute record

Select the Attribute type from the drop-down list and enter a Factor. The Attribute types are maintained in the Staff Development module. The factor allows the attribute to be given some kind of value that could be used to analyse the skills of the workforce. For example, if People Management skills were considered an attribute, they could be rated 1 to 10 and this would enable employees to be analyzed by these skills — for example, all the highly rated people managers could be listed.
