Use this window to override the pension contributions for the specified pension scheme for the pay period. You should use this functionality when you want to adjust the figures generated in previous periods’ processing to bring the accumulators into line, perhaps due to changes in circumstances that were late in notification.
When you provide the details of the new pension contributions in this window, the calculation stage for this process is bypassed and the figures you specify are used instead.
You can specify values only for the current pay period and they can only be used for valid scheme definitions that have been attached to the currently selected employee. Because of this, the Pension Scheme drop-down list is unlikely to contain all the defined pension schemes.
View-only. This field displays the current pay period (the year and tax period).
Select the pension scheme to which the override values apply.
You can define pension schemes by using Payroll > Module Setup > Pension Scheme.
Select one of the following from the drop-down list:
- New Values
View-only. This field indicates the status and is set to Active.
Type a value for the employer contributions. This can be a negative value, such as -150.
Type a value for the employee contributions. This can be a negative value, such as -150.
Type a value for the voluntary contributions.
