Summary

Use this window to record the selected employee’s pension details for reporting to the Teachers’ Pension Agency. If the employee is paying the pension through the software’s Payroll system, these details are recorded through the normal period processing and this window is not required. However, if the employee’s pension contributions are not stored in the system, you can enter them by using this window.

The payroll Year and the employee’s TPA Reference can be recorded. The Contributory Salary, Basic Contributions and Additional Contributions values can be entered. The contributory salary is the value used as a basis for the employee’s pension basic contribution. The basic contribution value is the value the employee has paid to the pension scheme. The additional contributions value can be entered, which are the values made in addition to the basic contribution by the employee.
