User Define Field With Cross Reference Validation

  1. Use General Codes in System Setup > Housekeeping Definitions General to define a Cross Reference table, to hold the valid values for the field. The only fields needed in this screen are a Code field and Description for the table.
  2. Use General Lists in System Setup Housekeeping Definitions General to define the values that are valid for the table defined in Point 1. above. Click + to expand the menu. Then highlight the required Code table to which you are going to add or maintain values.
  3. Use User Defined Data in System Setup Housekeeping to define the user defined screen.
