HR Query Copy

Procedure for sending a copy of a HR Query to another user:

 

For the user who has access to the query:

  1. Access HR Query.
  2. Highlight the query to be copied.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Select Export.
  5. Use Browse to decide where to create the temporary file and its name (e.g. c:\export).
  6. Click Finish.
  7. Either inform the new user where the file is if on a shared drive, or email the file to the new user.

 

For the new user

  1. Store the exported file if it has been sent to you via email.
  2. Access HR Query.
  3. Click Options.
  4. Select Import.
  5. Browse to locate the file to be imported.
  6. Click Finish to import the file.
  7. A new entry will be created in the users list of queries.
